Our philosophy

At WealthKernel, we believe in nurturing a strong engineering culture; one where everyone asks questions, one where people aren't afraid to challenge ideas and one where everyone's opinion matters. Our development methodology is a blend of the best parts of several agile disciplines. Hybrid workplace

We are workplace agnostic and believe in the power of choice to help our co-workers achieve the optimal work-life balance. This format requires rigorous use of collaboration tools and transparency across the company. Once a quarter the team gathers in various places (most recently London, UK and the Swiss Alps) to work in person and discuss the company's vision. We also host weekly meetups and video game nights for socialising.


Getting hired

Interview process

Across all of our teams, the interview process starts with one or two phone interviews. These calls are conversational and typically last twenty to forty-five minutes, with a focus on your prior experiences, domain knowledge, and personal interest in WealthKernel. We screen for technical abilities, ownership mindset, curiosity and humility. We also leave time for you to ask us questions.

Engineering interviews are centered around a 1 to 2 hour pair-programming exercise and may include technical questions about data structures, algorithms, and software engineering. Don't worry, we won't expect you to know all the answers, first and foremost we screen for problem solving abilities and a positive attitude towards learning.
