Timing is crucial in the investment industry and the stock market. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of our real-time trading functionality for equities and ETFs, which will help investors capitalise on time and make decisions suited to their appetite.

Why does real-time trading matter?

Real-time trading allows us to execute buy or sell orders of the most popular securities immediately at the current market price. This type of trading relies on up-to-second market data and technology to execute orders.

This means that our Tenants and their customers don't have to miss out on optimum market conditions. We’re following market hours to start with, queueing orders placed outside those trading hours.

WealthKernel also supports aggregated trading, which, in contrast to real-time, enables us to batch all orders and trade once daily. This is suitable for businesses that have a long-term buy-and-hold proposition.

Wealthyhood, our first tenant to go live with our US equities offering, has also integrated our real-time trading functionality to offer commission-free trading to its customers.

What does our real-time trading service offer?

With our functionality, tenants will benefit from immediate execution and quick access to the stock market. Tenants and their customers can place orders according to the market conditions, and we can execute them immediately with our sub-brokers.

Investors can also place orders for fractional shares, which will help them diversify their portfolios without breaking the bank. This helps us make real-time trading more accessible to everyday investors.

Our functionality also includes comprehensive transaction reporting on all orders executed on the platform. This feature reduces the need for a separate integration and cuts costs.

The real-time trading service supports market orders, which allow investors to buy or sell immediately at the current market price. We also operate on a cost-per-transaction basis, keeping our tenants informed about the costs associated with each trade.

We’ve got an extensive roadmap of features we want to add, too, and we're continuously chipping away at them. New securities, currencies, order types, and hours will be released soon.

With our new trading feature, we aim to eliminate barriers to creating wealth for everyday investors and make it easier for them to participate in the stock market.
